Program Status of Activities

• A federal and state not-for-profit status (501 c 3 status obtained).
• Established a unique "hands-on" Board. An Advisory Council of "doers," including members from North America, Europe, and South America is in development.
• Financial support plan for Raoul Wallenberg Monument in Chicago in development. Target: $60,000.
• Raoul Wallenberg Film Documentary - Blue print and shooting schedule completed. Production budget funding is in planning stage.
• School Curriculum in review and in editing stage.
• Institute presentation material designed.
• Web site completed and running: wallenberginstitute.org
• Lecture and film presentation completed.
• Established a hosted site by the Emanuel Foundation in New York (visited over 31,000 times in two years).
• Established a working relationship with the Avenue of the Righteous with a future link. (Future links will be developed for worthwhile and productive connections).
• Finished a private mini-documentary about Raoul Wallenberg narrated by the renowned radio and television personality Bill Kurtis (to be used as a lecture/discussion device - running time 13 minutes).
• Up-to-date research is on going, including access to the Wallenberg Report from the Swedish Government. The report also includes the Soviet side of the Wallenberg mystery and sheds light on how the Soviets worked with prisoners during and post WWII.
